For those seriously interested in the paranormal who do not have an outlet for their curiosity, Southern New England Paranormal might just be the place for you! We are currently accepting new member applications. If you would like to join SNEP and live anywhere in Connecticut, Rhode Island, or Massachusetts, send your name, age, reason why you are interested in the paranormal, and any experience you may have had with ghosts and hauntings to . All messages are confidential and will be replied to in a timely manner by one of our members.

Our Rules

This is a list of rules that has been agreed upon by all founding members of Southern New England Paranormal. Anyone who wishes to join must strictly adhere to all rules. More may be added later.




  • All members must be over the age of 18, and sound in both mind and body.

 

  • No investigating alone! A person must be accompanied by at least one other member of SNEP, for safety, to confirm equipment readings, and to validate experiences. The two member team should include at least one senior member whenever possible.

  • All incidents must be verified and agreed upon by all members before stated as factual.

  • Permission must be granted by owners in order to investigate on any and all private or posted properties.

  • Investigations, information, and research is to be kept strictly in confidence between SNEP members, unless decided upon by all members. All private/residential cases will be kept confidental, no questions asked and no exceptions, except by written permission of the owner(s).

  • Any person that wishes to join SNEP must be voted in by a unanimous vote by all existing senior members.

  • Destructive behavior or criminal mischief of any kind is strictly forbidden. Members caught will be immediately expelled from SNEP. This includes sneaking into cemeteries at night without permission.

  • There should be no smoking during an investigation due to possible corruption of the site, and alcohol should not be used on the day/evening of an investigation at all. If a member must smoke, s/he should do so far away with respect to others of the group and the departed. Illegal substances of any kind will not be tolerated.

  • No smoking while anyone is taking photographs. Photographers should warn others well in advance before they are ready to shoot, and members should extinguish their cigarette thoroughly and place it in their pocket or a garbage receptacle. Please do not throw cigarettes on the ground, especially in cemeteries or private residences. Please have respect for others' properties at all times.
